Failed to connect to veeam backup and replication server software#
In Veeam software at section backup infrastructure i rescanned all servers and i also set my credentials again. I go to services.msc and restarted Veeam Installer Service. This process requires that Veeam Backup & Replication be installed, configured with the Axcient Cloud Connect service provider, and properly licensed for use with the Veeam Agent for Windows.ġ. The step i did to solve this problem is as below: 1. This method allows for a local backup to be retained onsite while a Backup Copy Job is used to send the backups to the Axcient cloud. Have checked the event logs on both the client and the server and can't see anything untoward at all.The recommended method for configuring the Veeam Agent for Windows is to backup to the Axcient cloud. Same result if I try and connect via Powershell using Connect-VBRServer -Server "servername". I can open shared folders between the two machines, all other services requiring authentication seem to be working normally. After that my Azure PowerShell connection worked perfectly: From there I had to remove all of the old machine certificates added through all of the failed attempts Finally a re-install of the agent and a re-register of the server completed successfully.

Anything I've found online about the particular error is mostly talking about RDP authentication issues with a particular Windows update from a year ago, but this doesn't seem to be relevant - RDP between the two machines working fine. I can telnet to the server on port 9392 and get a response, so it's not a firewall issue.

Failed to connect to veeam backup and replication server windows 10#
I've tried with the Windows 10 machine both joined to the domain and in its own workgroup, as well as trying with and without the "Use Windows session authentication" option. When I try to connect from the Windows 10 box to the server it tries for a couple of minutes but eventually spits out "Failed to connect to Veeam Backup & Replication server: The function requested is not supported".
Failed to connect to veeam backup and replication server pro#
I have Veeam B&R running on a Server 2012 R2 box (fully updated) and have the console installed to a Windows 10 Pro box.
